CHC Banarpal | Community Health Centre Banarpal, Angul Odisha

About Our CHC

Community Health Centre (CHC) Banarpal functions as a major public healthcare institution in the Banarpal Block of Angul District, strategically located near prominent industrial areas. The centre plays a significant role in addressing the healthcare needs of a diverse population that includes rural residents as well as a large number of migrant and industrial workers.

CHC Banarpal provides administrative and technical oversight to a healthcare network consisting of 4 Ayushman Arogya Mandir Primary Health Centres (AAM-PHCs) and 26 Sub Health Centres, out of which 17 are Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub Centres (AAM-SCs). This network ensures continuity of care and effective service delivery across both rural communities and industrial catchment areas, including regions influenced by major industries such as NALCO.

The centre delivers comprehensive preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative healthcare services, with special attention to maternal and child health, immunization, disease control, family welfare, and occupational health concerns related to industrial work environments. Services are designed to meet the health needs of workers, migrant populations, and their families alongside the rural population.

Supported by Government health programmes and a committed team of healthcare professionals, CHC Banarpal continues to strengthen people-centred healthcare delivery, promote workplace-related health awareness, and improve overall health outcomes within the block.
